I hate Housework but I love to scrap.

I hate to clean my house. It is always a mess. Being  a stay at home Mom It seems all I ever do is clean up after my  kids, do laundry and cook.  Always being behind in everything I am suppose to be doing. It takes a toil on your soul and spirit. After talking to my husband about this, he  reminded me of one thing I do love... Scrapbooking!!!
I do love scrapbookiing, I love paper, ribbons, buttons, stamps and all the great things that go into paper crafting, scrapbooking and card making.
Being a mother of 3 it is very hard to find the time. I was so behind. I had not touch a piece of scrapbook paper in over a year. I decided to make time.I need to make time. For my soul and sanity. So  I am back to blogging and presenting all my  great layouts. This past weekend I went to my local scrapbooks store and cropped all day Saturday. I have been reading on line about all the great new techinques and trends.
I have ordered my washi tape, twine and all sorts of new paper. I can't wait for it to arrive in the mail.
I will post pictures of all the great layouts that I completed this weekend later when I get the pictures uploaded.

I love, love, love my IPad.

I found this link when I was blog surfing. This amazing page is a huge list of every cricut cartridges out there and their handbooks. From this link, I was able to download the handbooks of all the cartridges I have. I was able to do this in my iBooks on my iPad. There was a button that said download to IBooks. It was so easy. I love, love love it!! I was working on my new project tonight. I was able to flip back in forth from each book in a matter of seconds. When I use my gypsy. I still need to keep those handbooks close by. My mother has a color nook, she was able to do the same. I am sure it works the same for the iPhone or iPod touch. Try it out. It is so easy.

Happy New Year!!!!!!

I can not believe that it is 2011 already. I have been very busy with Christmas. My husband and the kids has been home for christmas break. I have not had the time to come down to my scrapbook cave. I call it a cave because I am stuck in the cold dark basement. My poor cricut is hooked up to an extension cord coming down from the celling. It is still nice to have my own space.
The only Creative thing I have done is add the word star to Our Little Star mini album. I have posted the new picture.
I am now going to start on a challenge by our very own Pink Stamper. It is her design team challenge using pink, brown and green. Wish me luck. It should be a fun project.

Our Little Star

On march 1 2010, Lucas came to live with us. We were all so lucky to adopt such a wonderful, sweet little boy. He became apart of our family instantly. He is such a huge blessing to us. Here is a little album I created for him. I used my cricut to cut out the chipboard with my deep cutting blade, then I cut out the paper using the same star.
